OWNER’S VIEW — OWNER’S AGENT

Ask it the way you would ask your bookkeeper.

The question you actually have is never a report. It is how many loads go out today, who is on shift, who has not paid me, are we ahead of last month. Getting there through a reporting screen means already knowing which report to open. Ask this one in ordinary words, by voice or by text, and it answers the same way.

YOUR BACK OFFICE

WHO THIS IS FOR

Owners who want the answer while driving, between jobs, or at nine at night — without opening anything.

THE PROBLEM

The gap is not information, it is translation. Turning that question into the right query across four systems is a skill, and it is close to the least valuable thing an owner can spend an hour on. So the question goes unasked and the decision gets made without it.

Ask, by voice or text

EXAMPLE CONVERSATION
  1. You · spoken

How many loads are going out today?

  2. Charlie

Six. Four are packed and staged at docks 1 and 2; two are still on the line for the 2:00 and 3:30 trucks.

SURE · SHIPPING SCHEDULE, 6:00 AM
  3. You · spoken

Are we ahead of last month?

  4. Charlie

Probably. Revenue looks about 6% ahead, but QuickBooks and the ERP disagree by $8,700, and I have used QuickBooks.

NOT CERTAIN · TWO SYSTEMS DISAGREE
  5. You · typed

    What’s our customer satisfaction score?

  6. Charlie

I don’t have that number. Nobody has defined it yet, so I won’t estimate one.

    NO DEFINITION · NOT ANSWERED

It answers. It does not send, pay, book or change anything.

Asked on the phone, by voice or by text. Each answer says how sure it is in words and names its source, and when nothing defines the number, it says so instead of guessing.

What you get.

  • Answers by voice or by text, on whichever you have to hand.
  • Confidence stated in the wording of the answer — a firm number when it is firm, and audible hedging when it is not.
  • The source named in the answer whenever more than one system could have supplied it.
  • A plain refusal when it has no definition for what you asked, instead of a number it inferred.

How it works.

Priced against the scope, after a Diagnostic that is small on purpose. The shape of the work we can tell you now.

THE SHAPE
Runs alongside the dashboard and answers from the same definitions, so the screen and the voice can never disagree with each other.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
A view on what you would actually ask it, which shapes what gets defined first.
WHAT YOU KEEP
The question history, which turns out to be a good record of what you were worried about and when.

What this does not include.

Published because you should know before the call, not after the invoice.

  • Any action. It answers questions; it does not send, pay, book or change anything.
  • Answers about things nobody has defined. It will tell you it does not have that number instead of estimating one.
  • A claim of perfect accuracy. Conversational analytics settles near ninety-four per cent even when it is working well, and we would rather you knew the shape of that than discovered it.

QUESTIONS

What happens when it gets something wrong?

It will, and roughly one in seventeen is the published figure for this class of system. Two things reduce the damage: it answers only from written definitions, which is measurably several times more accurate than pointing a model at a raw database, and it tells you when it is unsure. What we will not do is present every answer with the same confident tone.

Can I ask it anything about the business?

Anything that has been defined. The set grows as you use it — the questions it cannot answer are logged, and the common ones become the next definitions we write.

Does it work by voice in a vehicle or on site?

That is the main reason it exists. Typing a question into a reporting tool is exactly the friction that stops owners looking, so it answers out loud and keeps the answer short enough to be heard, not read.

WHERE THIS APPLIES

The industries whose page names Owner’s View as one of the places we would start. Each one is written for that trade, with its own numbers.

Bring us one bad week.

Book a pilot call. Tell us where the week goes wrong, and we’ll tell you what an Operations Diagnostic would map and measure.

The first paid step has a clear scope and an end date, and the pilot after it is one workflow — not a platform, and not an open-ended retainer.
